The shaky bridge

Tara lived in a small village near the hills. Every morning she walked two kilometres to school with her little brother, Arjun. On the way, they crossed a small stream on a wooden bridge. One rainy day, the stream was full and the bridge was shaking. Arjun was scared. Tara held his hand tightly and told him to walk slowly and look straight ahead. They crossed the bridge safely. When they reached school, Tara told her teacher about the weak bridge. The teacher spoke to the village head, and the next week the villagers built a strong new bridge. Tara was happy that she had spoken up.
